What is the Astro Fibre app?

The Astro Fibre app is a newly introduced mobile application exclusively for Astro Fibre customers to allow them to control and tailor their household’s internet access, as well as share network access to guests in a secure manner, amongst many other features.

Who is eligible to use the Astro Fibre app?

Only new and existing Astro Fibre customers with the latest RG21 router can use the Astro Fibre app.

I am an existing Astro Fibre customer with a WiFi 6 Huawei K562e router; how can I access the Astro Fibre app?

For existing Astro Fibre customers with the WiFi 6 Huawei K562e router, you would need to upgrade to the latest RG21 router in order to access the Astro Fibre app, with a one-off fee of RM300. For any enquiries, please contact our Customer Contact Centre at 03 – 9543 1543 and an Astro agent will be available to assist you immediately.

What mobile platform supports the Astro Fibre app; and how do I download it?

The Astro Fibre app is supported on all iOS devices version 11 or later and Android devices version 5.0 or later. To download the app, you may visit your mobile app store and search for “Astro Fibre App”. Alternatively, you may install the app on your mobile device by clicking here (Google Play Store) or here (IOS App Store).

I am a new Astro Fibre customer with the RG21 router; how do I set up the app?

For all new Astro Fibre customers with the RG21 router, the Astro Fibre app will be installed on your mobile device for you during installation. Alternatively, you may refer to the user guide here for self-installation.
